With over 30 years of experience in the Home Improvement retail industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of customers, helping them find the right solutions for their home projects. Throughout my career, I’ve always been committed to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
A turning point came during a pivotal moment of reflection following a conversation with the CEO of the company I was working for. It became clear that our values no longer aligned, and as I sat in silence, I felt a clear prompting from the Lord: “It’s time.” In that moment, I knew I was being called to step away and wait for the next assignment He had prepared for me.
After prayerful discussion with my wife, Amanda, we were in agreement, and I submitted my resignation. Just a week later, the idea of appliance repair — something the Lord had placed on my heart nearly eight years earlier — began to stir with renewed clarity and excitement.
As I explored training opportunities, I prayed for confirmation. One evening after a home group gathering, I sensed a change in direction and conducted a new search: “Best Appliance Academies in the USA.” That’s when I discovered Same Day Appliance Academy in Houston, TX. Though their upcoming schedule wasn’t yet posted, I reached out the next morning and prayed for clear guidance.
The academy’s director, Caricia, walked me through their program and the certifications they offered. As I shared that I felt led by the Holy Spirit to connect with them, she responded with excitement, explaining that their business was founded on faith in Jesus and operates to expand His Kingdom. Their commitment to faith-based business practices confirmed what I needed to hear. I enrolled that day.
During my six weeks in Houston, I trained extensively on major appliances and participated in in-home service calls alongside instructors Oswaldo and Prof. Willy. The name of our business — It’s Time Appliance Repair — comes directly from the word the Lord spoke to me at the beginning of this journey.
I’m blessed to be supported by my wife of 27 years, Amanda, and together we’ve raised three wonderful children. We’ve called Statesville, North Carolina home for the past 15 years, and all of our children have graduated from the local school system. We love this community and are excited to serve it in a new way.
At It’s Time Appliance Repair, you’ll receive red-carpet service delivered with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. As a locally owned and operated business led by the Holy Spirit, I strive to honor God through the quality of work and care provided to every customer.
Thank you for considering It’s Time Appliance Repair. My family and I look forward to serving yours.
